declared 1 hr break from my work today for lunch.
it was super slack at novena today and i only sold 11 pens. but well today was supposed to be my off day lah. so nice to c a fren of 6+ yrs... haha... though we didn't talk much i think i still enjoyed her company. the time we could have together was short and i couldn't bear to start a topic with her so just her company was enough.

just like a $200 tip i had from this indian man at novena.
money is not the only solution. even if it's for 5 min, someone else's attention and presence is much more valuable than being able to raise $300,000. what he said is very true but i guess sometimes it's not easy at all to fork out time to give attention, esp to someone who is of no relation to u.

yup. i learnt a lesson from jun after knowing her score... and i felt rather remorseful and ashamed of myself from the way i work. yet i see my this other colleague and feel relieve that i'm neither first nor last.
we shouldn't compete with others but with ourselves. and unknowingly, we will outshine the rest.

watched Passion today with Lam and the rest. interesting but i think i've got a weak heart. lost appetite after watching the show... but the crystal jade meal took my mind off the movie.
