so i'm not the only one feeling pissed off with NUS.
we weren't overconfident.
We were given false hopes by, of all people, the professors and NUS consultants.
Then my brother said " professors lie 90% of the time".
i second that.
anyway instead of groaning and moaning, i'm going to choose estate management over arts and social science.
since i can't learn how to adminster business why not find a profession that gives me a higher chance of finding a job.
business students always end up doing full time data entry but may rise up to GMs in years to come.
i've always wanted to be a GM.
then i realised BRE students can also take up managerial positions or work in a bank and manage property and land.
haha that sounds much more interesting then being a qian bian property agent who post up their ugly pictures all over singapore trying so hard to sell a flat.
if i want my picture to be seen, it should be in the Newspapers and Time magazine front page, not at staircases and letterboxes.
sometimes u see how true some things become -- we love one thing so much that we criticise others that replaces that one thing without fully understanding the good and value of it.
Time is the only factor that can heal all wounds.
nevertheless i'm going ahead with the appeals, and somehow i wouldn't be terribly upset if i'm unsuccessful.
Life still goes on, it is whether we make the best out of everything that we have.
I went thru exactly the same thing when i was posted to NJ.
but i made the best out of everything and i have no regrets at all.
