Okie!!! here's a summary of my sleep research program...

Me and my fren reported to the lab at 7pm and we were told we have to stay awake till 7pm the next day... *penG* then we had to do reaction time tests every hour... and 7am - 10am was the most tiring. We would doze off halfway while doing the test, coz we had to focus hard. We had to press a button as fast as we can upon seeing a square appearing.
and yes, for the first time i do believe in hallucinations. becoz i had it while doing the test. my reflections and the screen plus my worn out mind = non-existant images, hence i press the button even though no squares appeared. That's the stage before i got really really tired. When i was terribly stuggling to keep awake (considering i played canoe polo in the day), that's when i start to lapse and missed the squares, so while descending into the delta stage of the unconscious mind, i would be rudely awaken by the horrible beeps of "you missed a square. WAKE UP!"
I could see the pattern... my reaction time ranged from 220ms(8pm) to 480ms(8am).

Anyway, the pictures below are taken on my camera phone. heh, my wonderful handy phone which has dropped countless time but will still be there for me when i just needed it.

oh yah, all the neuroscience researchers were all psychology majors. wow, and i was so impressed and awestruck by the numerous books they have to read up on. pardon me, but i do stereotype at times when number of books on your shelf do somehow equate to the level of ur knowledge and intelligence.

Looks scary right??? like we were going to get mutated, or being casted to death by radiation. Posted by Hello
