Ahhh here i am rushing my blog post before liren calls me. It's time i put something new on it. Camp's over. It was great fun, it was impactful, it was cool and i just knew i suck at playing icebreaking games. But after this experience, i just felt there's much more to what we can do. I feel like all of us are going up one level towards nirvana though we're pretty far from it.

It was a camp like no other orientation camp. It sounded boring. There was no bash, no fright night, no fongseng supper time, no gambling smoking and drinking. Hah. But those whom i had approached but chose to turn my invitation down, HAHAHAHA!!! U're so going to regret not going!!! *so evil tsk* I couldn't believe my eyes the sight of strangers turning into great frens in a span of 4 days. All the tiredness and weariness turning into a sticky glue that binds a group of people together. During the sharing session, it warms our heart knowing how much desire they have to organise and lead a humanitarian trip. We have indeed achieved our goal ---- a goal that we have set for the campers to achieve. It wasn't a camp that ended on the 9th July 2005.

Sorry about the incoherence, but i'm very grateful to the people around me who had pushed me on to make the camp a success. If any cynic out there ask why we are doing this and that its not going to help the world, buzz off man. People don't live because they have food everyday or shelters over their heads; they live because they constantly seek hope and courage from others and love that only their fellow human beings can provide. Put yourself in their shoes and you'll know that a 2 min joy and relief can bring you through the thunderstorms because they are the only memories that can last a lifetime.

If you are an abled person, do something with your life!! The world is big, but baby steps lead to walking, then to runing, and lastly to flying. Anyway, if u wanna help people u gotta help yourselves first. 20th July is YC's some-centrepoint-thingie-event. Better come down. smart casual. meet 1:30pm at centrepoint.
29th July is the gala dinner ball. Wear black ties (not silver ar. tsk tsk haha.) and i'm going to look for a pink dress to match the pink shirt. hirk. everybody else, WEAR PINK!!! down with black ties!!!

and so yesterday was karaoke day for me. 9 hours of singing and my ulcers getting worse i can feel my teeth on the right side rotting coz i'm not brushing them well. For the brokenhearted: Continue searching the good things in life. To hell with romance, say hello to time, money and peace.
