ooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hihi...
to tell u the truth, i experienced mood swings on saturday night, after i came back from k box with the usual 3 ~ violet la, iris la, ws la, and violet's sis la (wah lao she can sing man, quite effortlessly too!). i was so damn tired and i completely knocked out in the middle of my interview.
okie, this time i was the interviewer and i had to interview 6 people in a row, without any break. there were 3 panelists, including me and we were interviewing people who wanted to go the similar volunteer prog i did in turkey. so we asked questions like "what's ur vision...what u passionate about... past experience..." blah blah... it always have to start of like that, slowly the interviewee will just go and go about his past experience.
this girl with pretty bad grades (grades indirectly shows how u take individual responsibility) actually got accepted. while this prc who's 1st class honours (what's new) got rejected. well. the point is that, if u have bad grades u need a supporting reason why ur grades are so bad (like exceptionally bad) ... she does lots of volunteer work on a regular basis... helping deaf people and she learnt sign language.... so that overrides the academic part. and she really touched my heart... While this prc just went on and on how much he love to travel and love to experience new things without a tinge of passion to help people... so he was kinda rejected.
so i learnt that it doesn't matter if u are bad at something because u will be good in another thing. and your coming years in life is to find out what u r good at... anything, just anything...
don't despair in life ... it's too precious to waste it away...
and from an interviewer's point of view... if u have bad results and nothing motivates u anymore to study hard... go and pick a skill and volunteer and play sports whatever!!! imagine if u have bad grades and nothing on your cca record... then that would speak so little about u... and it would be a waste....
why am getting all so serious man. well these few days i'm getting exciting with my own vacation plans.. and the idea of working in a cosmopolitan city excites me! maybe i'm crazy, but i want to feel the vibrancy of a city and actually be part of the crowd! and being other in a city other than shenton way just makes me look forward to it. i don't know but singaporeans dread the being in the shenton way crowd (so do i) , so i'm like going to be part of it... except not in shenton way!!! yay!
姆哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈。。。
don't ask anything related to this post. just read and drop a hi.
