A picture tells a thousand words! It was Mother's day, and we had a fine zi char dinner at liang seah street.

Also... kst and i went roller blading at East Coast~


and then jacq, my cousin and i decided to head down to Batam for some adrenalin pumping cable skiing which my cousin had sucessfully stood up on his own *applause!*, while Jacq and I had our wakeboarding fun on a Joy Ride~

Joy Ride: Where i hitched an effortless ride with the pro aka David Mohammad Beckham ~ i had to sit on his lap, while he does the wakeboarding. According to the instructor Mr. Long, i can stop the ride by pulling the hand brake in between the pro's leg. hermmmm... wah liew~ so hum sup! but just bo liao sportsman humour??? but it definitely adds to the fun and laughter!!! ( just so wonder ... joy for the guy or joy for the girl? it's both!!! heh heh heh!)

That's the size of the Batam cable ski park. The one at East Coast should just 靠边站. Cable ski wasn't as easy as i thought, since I had done wakeboarding once. The force from the yank pulled my muscle on my left shoulder and a turn on the kneeboard became too physically daunting. but still, $85 for a day ski pass proved to be the perfect long weekend getaway! (provided you have great great company like Cousin dude and Jacq jacQ who have been so enthusiastic!)

and guess who i met there?

Those interested in cable ski~ it's ladies night on Wednesday 7pm - 10pm! $24 for 2 hours (which is sufficient) or $16 for 1 hour. Quick jio me jio me!!! It's a cheap deal if you intend to start learning!

btw, Pulau Ubin just opened a new bicycle trail for leisure riders like moi~ and for the more experienced like my triathlon brother~ called the Ketam Mountain Bike Park. Well. It's somewhere new - and somewhere new is somewhere a hobbit will want to go! and there's still the treetop walk unaccomplished~ *girl in aussie attention!*

There's no need to go anywhere far to have a time of your life.
